THE FOUNDER

Mr. Kartikeya Sharma is an Indian entrepreneur and philanthropist. His family office owns assets exceeding $ 2 Billion in real estate, distilleries, hospitality, sugar, film distribution and media. A Member of Parliament of India’s upper house (Rajya Sabha), he is the grandson of a former President of India and son of a former Union Cabinet Minister. He currently sits on the Parliamentary Committees on Communication & IT, Subordinate Legislation, Rules & Privileges. He’s a member of the Indian Council of World Affairs.

An Oxford graduate with an MBA from King's College in London, he also owns and runs three sporting leagues in Wrestling, Boxing and Polo. He’s the founder & promoter of the iTV Network, one of India’s largest media groups with 1,200 journalists across 17 major bureaus, operating nine news channels, including NewsX and five newspapers, including The Sunday Guardian. Through the Sunday Guardian Foundation, he does philanthropic work in health across the Indian states of Haryana, U.P, Delhi and Maharashtra.
