The NXT Fellowship is a highly selective, 10-day, all-expenses-paid (for limited seats) immersion program in India, scheduled in March 2027.
Meticulously curated for emerging global leaders and accomplished professionals.
The Fellowship’s core mission is to provide an unparalleled, firsthand understanding of India’s strategic trajectory, its rapidly expanding economy, and its pivotal role in the new world order.

More about the fellowship

  • Access & Insight: Fellows will spend one week in India’s capital, engaging directly with political, diplomatic and industry decision-makers in curated one-on-one sessions.
  • Cultural Immersion: Fellows will travel and explore India’s vibrant culture and heritage.
  • Networking: Fellows will gain deep economic and political knowledge, while networking with business and other key leaders.
  • Research & Presentation: A structured opportunity to produce an academic article of 500 words and present findings at the NXT Conclave.
  • Publication: The articles are published in an annual magazine as well as the Sunday Guardian, India’s leading weekly-english newspaper. The presentations are published across social media platforms.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Nationality: This fellowship is open to foreign and Indian nationals
  • Age: Between 18 and 33 is ideal.

Fellowship Schedule

  1. Study & Research (Days 1–3): Three full days of high-impact policy sessions. Focused on technology, economy, and governance, these sessions feature direct learning from senior policy experts and thought leaders.
  2. Culture & Travel (Days 4–5): A focused cultural experience, including a day trip to Agra and a day tour of Delhi. Explore India’s heritage, from the iconic Taj Mahal to the historical monuments of the capital.
  3. Synthesis & Presentation (Days 6–7): Dedicated time for fellows to finalise their written and oral deliverables. This period is used to finalise the 1,000–1,500 word article and the 5-minute policy presentation.
  4. The Conclave & Graduation (Day 8): Fellows will present their 5-minute policy analysis to the cohort and key leaders, serving as the capstone moment of their journey. The program formally concludes with the Graduation Ceremony at the high-profile NXT Conclave 2026.

NXT Research Grant

The NXT Fellowship is dedicated to transforming policy research into global insight. 
A select group of fellows will be chosen to receive the NXT Research Grant to continue and publish their work post-fellowship.

Grant Value: $1,500 USD

  • Purpose: The grant supports expanding your fellowship in India into a 3,500-word research paper.
  • Publication: The final, accepted papers will be featured in our annual publication, The NXT Frontier, and our website. The aim is to provide a global platform for your research.

Note: The grant does not cover any personal expenses, travel, visa, or accommodation costs outside of the 8-day fellowship program. Funding is strictly intended for research costs, data acquisition, and professional editing.

Financials & Logistics

The NXT Fellowship is an all-expenses paid opportunity for limited seats, ensuring you can focus entirely on your experience and research without financial worry.

Further, the Fellowship is open to students / professionals who wish to cover their own travel expenses, boarding and lodging will be on us.

What the fellowship covers

We are committed to providing a seamless experience from the moment you leave your home country to your return. The fellowship covers most essential costs:

  • Travel: Your round-trip Air tickets are on us, however, please note this is only for 50% limited seats of the selected cohort. The remaining fellows are responsible for their airfare and visa costs.
  • Visa Responsibility: While we will provide a Letter of Invitation and all required supporting documents, the fellow is expected to manage their own visa application process, including visiting the embassy and paying all associated fees. The visa fee is not reimbursable.
  • Accommodation: Boarding and lodging are on us for the entire 10-day duration.
  • Program Costs: All internal travel, meeting expenses, and curated activities are covered.
  • Food: The food is great, and all meals are included.
